Hassenfeld Library: Curiosity in the Classroom

Curiosity in the Classroom

These resources came from the 2017-2018 School Renewal Committee on Curiosity in the Classroom. The committee's recommendations for faculty include:

  • Pick one or two of these resources to explore in greater depth. Add your own suggestions to the spreadsheet!
  • Reflect on your curriculum: Look at a unit or lesson through the lens of how it could spark or utilize curiosity. How could you tweak it?
  • Ask your colleagues for input. If you’re not sure who to ask, any of our committee members would be happy to start a discussion with you.

Committee members included: Kate Pritchard, chair; Cindy Crenshaw, Anne Dervan, George Flatau, Joe Getsi, Jan Honsberger, Josephine Huang-Yeh, Pamela Malinowski, Dawn Matthies, Harrison Nam, Jody Reynolds, Victoria Roca, Emily Theobald, Heather Webber, Ben Zeppos; Quinton Walker, admin liaison.
