Archival Materials Request Form

IMPORTANT: If you would like to use any materials from the USN Archives, please fill out the Archive Loan Request Form.

Please do not remove any materials from the archives without explicit permission from our archivist, Kat Trammell '99.

What Can I Research?

In the USN archives, you will find documents, scrapbooks, yearbooks, photographs, letters, personal accounts, and other artifacts relevant to any time period between the inception of our school in 1915 to the present day. Examples of topics you might explore in the archives include the following:

  • U.S. armed conflicts (WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf War, etc.)
  • Attitudes towards cultural practices & ideas, especially among youth (cigarette smoking, health, fashion, music..)
  • Political commentaries
  • Educational policies and practices
  • Reports of local events and Nashville history

Donating Items to the USN Archives

If you have items you would like to donate to the USN Archives, please reach out to Kat Trammell '99, our archivist, at ktrammell@usn.org. All donations should be accompanied by the Archive Deed of Gift form (below), which you can print out and include with the materials you are donating.
